About the Selection Committee

The SARTREX Selection Committee is responsible for ensuring that each participant selected for the program embodies the skills, dedication, and mindset required to contribute meaningfully to the Search and Rescue (SAR) community. Our committee carefully evaluates applicants based on a structured, fair, and transparent selection process that prioritizes merit, commitment, and potential for growth.

By upholding the SARTREX Code of Honor and applying selection procedures, the committee guarantees that each program is composed of individuals who will thrive in a collaborative, high-intensity learning environment while advancing global SAR capabilities.

The Selection Committee is usually the first point of contact for applying to a SARTREX Program.
