WHAT WE ARE DOING: OUR MISSION

SARTREX is an international, non-profit effort dedicated to advancing the global Search and Rescue (SAR) discipline. Our core mission is to Unite, Train, and Develop SAR personnel both paid professionals and unpaid from around the world. We work to break down geographical and organizational silos by creating a unified platform for high-level training, knowledge exchange, and international collaboration. By fostering a global community of SAR professionals, we aim to enhance operational effectiveness, promote interoperability, and build a network of mutual support, all in the shared mission of saving lives.

HOW IT LOOKS: THE PROGRAM STRUCTURE

The SARTREX experience is a comprehensive, intentionally designed educational model that maximizes both learning and practical application. It is structured in three distinct but integrated phases:

Selection procedure:

We have a intensive selection procedure to make sure that the candidates fit the program.

Online Theoretical Program: 

The program commences with a mandatory online phase where participants build a common and consistent foundation of knowledge. This curriculum covers essential SAR theory, Incident Management Systems (IMS), Lost Person Behavior, and other specialized principles relevant to the year's theme. All participants, regardless of their origin or background, arrive at physical event with a shared understanding and are prepared for advanced, hands-on application.

Intensive Physical Event:

The program culminates in a multi-day, handsiredisciplines and provides attendees the opportunity to achieve internationally recognized certifications, such as those provided by The National Association For Search And Rescue (NASAR). Adherence to these global standards ensures the highest quality of training is met and promotes a common operational language among professionals worldwide.
